IN A FLASH!!!

Three days ago, 7th October 2017, there was gas explosion at Atomic junction in Accra-Ghana and two filling Stations were close to this gas filling station. Before 10 pm on the same day, TV3 reported about 4 cars that got burnt and the fire was spreading towards Legon University campus. People were coming out from their homes with full speed trying to run away from the fire. Watching closely from the video, something amazing was noticed. None of the people running away from the fire carried a television, radio, suitcases, clothes, foodstuffs or any property. All these things were useless to them at that time. All that mattered was their lives, There was no time for them to grab anything.

No one liked Atomic junction fire, why? Because it burns and destroys everything on its path. Surely no one will like hell fire as well. Indeed, the only thing that is valuable at the time is the individual lives and not properties. People don't care where they will spend eternity and just like three days ago, people left home and never returned. May they find favor in God's sight and may their souls rest in perfect peace. Things happen and those alive must learn from them. With the above incident, it means that nobody wants fire, but this fire can be quenched unlike the eternal hell fire that cannot be quenched and it is also eternal. This incident also indicates that, all that we are toiling for in this life, one day, we are going to live them all behind.

In a flash, Jesus is going to come the same way and it will be too late to re-adjust like what happened at Atomic junction. Let this event be an eye-opener to all of us and lets get our souls ready because the statistics of event taking place in our world today shows that, there is no doubt that Jesus will come any moment from now. The way we love our lives and wouldn't want anything to happen to it on this earth, the best thing to do if we love our lives is to give those lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Everything indicates that His coming is too close than we can think. About a year ago, on CNN, Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda declared that he is the anti-Christ, and he is giving life to people and his millions of followers had the number 666 tattooed on their bodies and they were happy about it and not knowing the doom ahead. The moment Jesus comes the anti-Christ will openly be revealed to the  world. He is already there waiting for Jesus to come for His own. Get ready!!! Something historic is about to take place. Nobody knows when that day is going to be, but Jesus mentions some signs in Matthew 24 that when we begin to see them, then we must know His coming is at hand. and it may happen faster than we thought.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish but have an everlasting life. For God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Those who believe in Him will not be condemned, but those who did not believe in Him are already condemned" (John 3:16-18). Jesus loves you and He cares for you. No time to waste, make your decision now before it is too late.

WE ARE HARD PRESSED ON EVERY SIDE BUT NOT CRUSHED

Anytime l write to you, l am fully convinced that most of you are going through your trial and testing times. Some of you are even thinking of going back to your old habits which would make things more difficult for you. Listen, l want to assure you once again that you are not alone. Are you facing a moment of decision in your life but don’t know which way to go? Are you in a painful situation which you think will bring doom to your life?

Are you in a very difficult financial crisis which looks like the heavens is getting loosed upon you? Have you come to cross road and think that that is the end of your journey? All l want to tell you is, 1. Pray. 2. And wait until you receive your answer from God. It does not matter how long it takes, but for one thing l am sure of is, your prayers will surely be answered at God’s own time. (Jonah 2:1) “From inside the fish, Jonah prayed to the Lord his God” (Jonah 2:10) “And the Lord commanded the whale and it vomited Jonah onto the dry land”

In this miracle, the following took place: 1. Jonah found himself still alive inside the whale and called out to the Lord. 2. For three days, God shut all the immune system of that whale so the crushing and digestion did not take place. That is where Paul said in (2 Cor. 4:8) “We are hard pressed every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down but not destroyed” My dear fellow believer, never give up hope in the seemingly impossible situations. Like Jonah, you can turn the miraculous hand of God in your own situation by praying and waiting. There are five truths l want you to know about trials.
1. Trials are not punishments but stepping stone into your heights. “No cross no crown” “No trials, no testimonies” (1 Peter 4:13) “Dear friend, do not be surprised at the  painful trial you are suffering as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed
2. God loves you and allow trials in your life to help you grow spiritually. (Isa. 54:10) “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken, nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has companion on you” Secondly to help grow spiritually, you need the following ingredients in (Jas. 1:2-3) “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be matured and complete, not lacking any thing”
3. I want you to know that His grace is sufficient to get you through every situation if you don’t give up. (2 Cor. 9:14) “And in their prayers for you, their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you.”
4. When trials become too hard. God provides a way of escape for you (1 Cor. 10:13) “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it”
5. There are benefits such as patience, endurance, and empathy that comes from trials. So you see, just try to rely on God and that will make you acknowledge the hard times you face. This will produce hope joy and meaning to your journey of trials.
May the goodness and the countenance of God rest upon you and your family and may He see you through this time of your trials. Stay blessed!!!!

STAND FIRM AND LOOK UP TO JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF YOUR RACE

My fellow Christians (believers) all over the world, l greet you all with the love of God and in the name of Jesus!! Remember what the Bible says concerning this period of time that we live in (Matt. 24:12) “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. But he who stands firm to the end will be saved” If God has brought you this far, it must be because He wants to do something with your life.

“If the going gets tough it takes the tough to get going” Keep going and never lose your trust in God, because Jesus is your strength. When there is life for you, there is hope for you as well. Never say die until you see all the bones rotten, even that, Jesus can bring those rotten bones back to life (Ezekiel 37). Remember what Paul said in (2 Cor. 4:8-9) “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair; persecuted but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed” Remember, we are in the end time and things are going to get harder and tougher. Put your whole trust in the Lord and you will make it to the end.

Let Paul be your role model and Jesus Christ be your strength and the Holy Spirit be your source of Power. David said in (Ps. 23:4) “Though l walk through the valley of the shadow of death, l will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me” Do not fear any evil, though we are in the evil days, the Lord will lead you through it successfully. Just maintain your position as a true believer and l promised you, you will make it to the end. May God bless you and make His face shine upon you forever.

“IT IS FINISHED”

When Jesus received the drink on the cross, He said “it is finished” With that, he bowed His head and gave up His ghost. (John 19:30). When Jesus gave up His ghost (died) on the cross, the devil and his agents thought that was the end of Him, not knowing the work for which He was born was just accomplished. The word “it is finished” means a lot to you and me, and is one word in Greek (telestai) which is a declaration that the work was done and the result will continue till eternity. I also want you to know that the cry “it is finished” was not a cry of termination, but rather it was a shout of triumph, declaring the completed accomplished work of the cross. “It is finished” is a declaration of 5 things that have been accomplished at a goal.

1. It declared the accomplished fact of Jesus’ earthly mission given Him by His father. (John 18:37) “You are a king, then,” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You are right in saying l am a King. In fact, for this reason l was born, and for this l came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me” Do you listen to Jesus? It is because of you and me He went through the painful death so that you and me can be set free. (John 8:36) “If the son set you free you are free indeed” His first accomplishment is setting you and me free from the bondage of sin that the devil has placed on us from the beginning of creation.

2. It also declared the fulfillment of important Old Testament prophecy about the suffering Messiah. (Isaiah. 53:4-5) “Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him and by His wounds we are healed”. His mission involved great pain, suffering, disappointment, and grief because of the sin of mankind. So His second accomplishment when He said "it is finished" is He was crushed for our iniquities and by those wounds, we are healed from every disease.

3. It also declared the completion of redemption as the sacrificial and Passover lamb of God involving blood (Ephesians. 1:7-8) “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on with all wisdom and understanding” (Gal. 3:13) “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree” Remember, Jesus became a curse for us in order for us to be free from all curses. Think about that!! This generational curse placed on all mankind from the beginning of creation by the devil. That curse was broken when Jesus said "it is finished" and now we are free from sin as soon as we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. Have yet given your life to Jesus? If not remember that curse is not yet broken in your life. Jesus wants you to be free from that curse so He is waiting for you to invite Him into your life and you'll be free indeed.

4. It also declared the decisive moment of victory on the cross over satan and his network of demons (Col. 2:15) “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross” His death on the cross stripped them of their power to hold men and women captive to evil’s dominion against their will (Heb.2:14) Because those whom Jesus came to redeem are flesh and blood humanity, Jesus also had to become a human being. For only as a true human being could He qualify to redeem the human race from sin and Satan’s power. Jesus died to destroy Satan’s power over those who believe and to deliver them from the fear of death. (1 John 3:8; Rev. 1:18) Do you believe in Jesus? If yes, then today is your day of redemption, just surrender your life to Him completely.

5. It also declared the achieved means of reconciliation of God with his creation and sinful humanity. (Col. 1:20-22) “And through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood shed on the cross. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now He has reconciled you  by Christs physical body through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation.”
Are you ready to surrender your whole life to Jesus? If yes, invite Jesus into your life and let Him be the Lord over your life. With this single act, l promise you, you will never be the same. God bless you as you take this important decision. Amen!!

GOD IS NOT THROUGH WITH YOU YET

I don’t know your situation right now but all l have to tell you is, so long as you have life, you still have hope. God will never give up on you so long as you don’t give up on yourself. Coming from a poor background does not mean you shall also end in the same way. You may be the one who will change the destiny of that background if you persevere a little longer.

There is that saying which says “The secret of success is to start from the scratch and keep on scratching until you achieve your goal. If you are about to give up in life, l want you to know that God is giving you another chance. There is hope for you and you will live to tell your success story.
The only thing you have to do is to commit your ways to the Lord, trust Him and He will do this in your life:

He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. (Psalm. 37:5-7). I wish you the best in life. May the countenance of God be upon your life and may His face shine upon you all the days of your life. Amen!!
